Assoc. Prof. Nihal Terzi Çizmecioğlu Receives the 2025 TÜBA-GEBİP Award
We are pleased to announce that Assoc. Prof. Nihal Terzi Çizmecioğlu has been awarded the 2025 TÜBA-GEBİP Award (Outstanding Young Scientist Award) in the field of Natural Sciences.
The TÜBA-GEBİP Awards are presented by the Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA) to outstanding young scientists working in the fields of natural sciences, engineering, health sciences, and social sciences. The program aims to encourage young researchers to continue their scientific studies in Türkiye, establish and develop their own research groups, and contribute to high-quality scientific research at the international level.Assoc. Prof. Çizmecioğlu was recognized in the field of Molecular Genetics, Epigenetics, and Embryonic Stem Cells for her research on the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms underlying cell fate decisions and embryonic development.
